San Andreas, CA…Thomas T.J. Wennhold August 30, 2005 ~ January 15, 2025 (age 19). Thomas James “TJ” Wennhold Born August 30, 2005, entered into rest January 15, 2025.TJ Wennhold was born at Mark Twain Hospital in San Andreas, CA to Bill and Melinda Wennhold on August 30, 2005. TJ always dreamed of being a firefighter and never let anything steer him away from that path. TJ attended Mountain Oaks Charter School where he graduated with honors in 2023. TJ then started his journey to becoming a firefighter, he completed the Calaveras County Fire Academy and was enrolled into Columbia College where he completed his EMT class and in doing so obtained his state and national certification. TJ was set to graduate in May 2025 with honors and dual degrees in Fire Science and Emergency Medical Services.

While TJ continued to chase his dreams of becoming the best firefighter he possibly could, he also loved to travel with his family and friends, TJ also loved being at school with his friends and loved playing video games till the wee hours of the morning. TJ shared the passion of antique fire equipment just like his father. TJ loved working at the firehouse where he would hang out with his fire family. TJ is survived by Mom and Dad, Bill and Melinda Wennhold , his Grandparents Janice and Al of Valley Springs, Ca and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Tj embraced his dads teaching of the honor and traditions of being a firefighter/EMT and the pride that comes from serving others. Memorial Services will be held on January 25, 2025, at 12 noon with reception to follow at Frog Town in Angels Camp, Ca.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations in his name to Central Calaveras Firefighters Association P.O Box 533 Mountain Ranch, 95246.
