San Andreas, CA…Meet Bailey (A056908), a female Rottweiler mix, 3- 4 years old and 82 pounds. Bailey urgently needs a permanent or foster home so she can receive a much-needed knee surgery. She’s been in the shelter for over 500 days, and while the cost of her surgery is fully covered, she can’t undergo the procedure until she has a calm, safe place to recover.
Bailey is a loving, playful, and loyal dog who bonds deeply with the people who care for her. She’s a favorite among shelter staff and volunteers for her affectionate nature, friendly personality, and soulful eyes. She walks beautifully on leash, checks in often with her handler, and thrives on companionship.
Because her recovery will require crate rest, medication, and gentle rehab over 8–12 weeks, Bailey needs a quiet home—ideally with no stairs, no other pets, and no small children. She’s a devoted, protective companion who wants nothing more than a human to love.
Help us give Bailey the second chance she deserves.
