San Andreas, CA…Meet Astrid (AO58828), a female German Shepherd mix, 5 years old and 62 pounds Astrid came to the shelter in rough shape—underweight, battling a flea allergy, and suffering from painful ear infections. Despite it all, she greeted everyone with affection and grace. With time, care, and extra meals, Astrid has regained her strength and is now thriving.
This resilient girl loves going for walks, playing fetch, and soaking up attention from her favorite humans. She bonds quickly, sits politely for treats, and is always eager to be by your side. Her gentle spirit and loyal heart have made her a shelter favorite.
Astrid is ready to leave her tough past behind and become someone’s beloved companion. To meet Astrid, contact: Calaveras County Animal Services, (209) 754-6509 or animal@calaverascounty.gov.
Please use Astrid’s intake number (AO58828) when making inquiries.
