San Andreas, CA…(Update…Forward Progress Stopped! Great work Everyone!!!) The now 2 acre Shalom Fire is Burning in the 5400 Block of Old Gulch Road. For local the words Old Gulch & Fire should never have to be used in the same sentence. Also initial reports of some spotting out ahead of the fire as well. Not a good location or elevation for a new fire.

Lots of additional resources have been ordered for this fire. Lets hope they can cancel them before they arrive
