Hollister, CA…Carmen R. Morgan 7/16/25 – 7/4/2020. Carmen Ramona Morgan entered peacefully into rest at home in Hayward, California on July 4, 2020. She was 94 years old. Born July 16, 1925 to parents Raphaela and Juan Horcajo, Carmen worked as a seamstress for over 30 years. She is survived by her daughters Ramona Morgan and Cynthia Morgan, Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends. She is greatly missed.

As some of you know, I still have my mother’s ashes. About a year before she passed she had told me that she was told that she was not allowed to be buried with her mom and dad, per the cemetery, due to the fact that she married a non-catholic.

So, we have decided that on (or close to) what WOULD have been mom’s 100th birthday, (which would have been July 16, 2025) we could hold a remembrance for her.

Because of Covid, we never really got to send Mama off ‘properly’. So, here it is:
