Valley Springs, CA…Clifford S. Sullivan Sr. June 25, 1945 ~ August 1, 2025 (age 80).   Clifford S. Sullivan Sr. (80) of Valley Springs passed away on August 1, 2025, at home surrounded by family.

Clifford was born June 25, 1945, in Hermit, CA. to Oma ‘Polly’ Allen (Alm). He graduated in 1963 from Livermore High School and immediately enlisted in the Air Force. He proudly served his country from 1963-1967 and achieved the rank of Airman First Class and was a Vietnam Veteran.

On March 16, 1968, he married the love of his life, Linda Mae (Rocha) Sullivan. Together they had 3 children and spent 55 years, 11 months, and 3 days together.

Clifford worked as a mechanical engineer for the California Department of Water Resources and retired after 25+years. During his life and in retirement Cliff was a Professional Fly Fisherman and well as an Exhibition Fly Tyer, and a FFF Casting Instructor. He enjoyed traveling as a Fishing Guide in Northern California and Alaska.  His other hobbies included cooking, gardening and supporting his wife’s shopping habits.

Clifford was proceeded in death by his wife, Linda Mae Sullivan, his daughter Michelle Ferrario (Sullivan), and his son Clifford Sullivan Jr.

Clifford is survived by his daughter Dawn Erler (Sullivan) and her Husband. Along with his 8 Grandchildren, their spouses and 17 Great Grandchildren.

A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
