San Andreas, CA…Meet Mipha (A059353), a female Husky mix, about 2 years and 55 pounds. Like her namesake from the Legend of Zelda, Mipha is graceful, striking, and a lover of water. Unlike many Huskies, she heads straight for the play yard pool and happily settles in to splash. With her elegant build and her stunning mismatched eyes—one blue, one brown—she turns heads wherever she goes.
This friendly girl has impressed volunteers with her sweet nature. She sits politely for treats, enjoys brushing, and thrives on affection. She is tidy in her kennel and may have some housetraining, though no guarantees can be made. Mipha also loves hugs, sometimes jumping up to get them, so she may do best in a home without small children.
As with many Huskies, Mipha has a strong prey drive—she has been seen chasing birds—and we have no information on how she does with cats. With other dogs, however, she is generally playful and social, except for the occasional dominant female. She will likely do well with a canine companion. Mipha also has plenty of energy and can pull on leash, but she is eager to learn and will benefit from continued training and structure.
Found wandering near Campo Seco, Mipha had a microchip, but attempts to reach her prior owners were unsuccessful. Now this beautiful girl is ready for a new chapter in a loving home where her spirit, smarts, and playful heart will shine.
