Valley Springs, CA…Mrs. Kathryn M. Robie January 5, 1942 ~ September 16, 2025 (age 83). Kathryn Mary Robie, Wife of John Robie for 64 years, Daughter of Clyde and Mildred Silveira, Sister of Clyde and David Silveira, Mother of Michael and Jennifer Robie, Grandmother of Alyana and Alexander Robie and Heather, Micah, and Stephanie
Wilson, passed away in her sleep 9/15/25.

Kathryn grew up on the Silveira Ranch near Burson and graduated from Calaveras High School where she would meet John Robie. Her and John would marry in 1959, and welcome Michael in 1962 and Jennifer in 1964. In 1968 the family would move to the Robie Ranch in Milton where Kathryn and John would take over the operations in 1973.

Kathryn graduated from Humphries Business College in 1976 and went on the work at the Calaveras County Recorders Office for 20 years, while helping John work the ranch.

She was a life long lover of animals Kathryn was the historiographer of the Robie Ranch and compiled and organized the family history and genealogy. She was instrumental in getting the Robie Ranch recognized the 100 and 150 year club for continuous family operations. She was also a member of the Calaveras County Historical Society.
