San Andreas, CA…In Calaveras County, 7 people were arrested by the CHP between 6:00 pm Friday and 11:59 pm Monday. 5 were arrested for DUI while 1 was arrested for possession of a stolen Honda Civic and the other for possession of a stolen John Deere Tractor.

The San Andreas Officers handled 6 accidents during this time period and wrote 50 citations. Most were for speeding including several mechanical violations. There was 1 citation issued for failing to use a hands free cell-phone, 9 citations for not wearing a seatbelt.
