Bear Valley, CA…Thanksgiving weekend 2025. Update Nov. 27, 8:30am – Mild overnight temperatures continue to melt the snow. Therefore, we are forced to close the snowshoe trails after today. The store resumes regular hours (9am-5pm) on Friday, including the Reba’s Meadow Cafe, Friday through Sunday from 11am-3pm. We apologize for any inconvenience, and Happy Thanksgiving.
Update Nov. 26, 4:30pm – We’ve just returned from snowmobile grooming the trails and were surprised by how much snow has melted since Monday, when we first groomed the snowshoe trails. There are still many areas of nice snow in a beautiful setting, but in between, there are many areas of sparse snow and even areas of no snow. While this is a little disheartening, we appreciate that many folks are simply looking for an adventure on this holiday weekend, and the “show must go on.” Heck, we are the Bear Valley Adventure Company.
