Arnold, CA…We see you, hardcore campers 😎 ❄️. Yes, you can snow camp! Our maintenance crew plows sites 1-11 so they are available year-round, even in the snow (thank you maintenance!). The campsites are first-come, first-served and there is a bathroom with running water in a heated space. Did we mention hot showers?

You pay for your site after you claim it by going to the entrance station. You either pay the person there or the machine by the yellow poles. Enjoy!

Keep in mind! If there is significant ongoing snowfall, maintenance will prioritize the road to the Visitor Center. We’ve needed to close the sites a handful of times- y’all remember the snowpack in 2022-2023? – but only a handful.
