Arnold, CA…The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is conducting a prescribed burn operation at the CAL FIRE Arnold Fire Station – 2517 Highway 4, Arnold, CA 95223. This project is located south of the community of Arnold and will be visible from Highway 4.

Smoke may be visible in the area during the prescribed burn operation and for several days after. This prescribed burn is designed to reduce forest fuels on approximately 10 acres, will promote timber stand health and provide training opportunities for fire personnel.The prescribed burn is scheduled for Wednesday, January 28, 2026, through Friday, January 30, 2026.
