Add More Wiggles & Giggles to Your Family Today!

San Andreas, CA…Meet Wiggles (A059985), a spayed female Pit Bull/Border Collie mix, about 1 year and 2 months old and weighing 39.4 pounds. Wiggles came to Calaveras County Animal Services earlier this year and quickly stood out for her expressive ears and striking golden eyes. She’s a young dog who draws people in right away, combining a distinctive look with a warm, approachable presence.

Wiggles is an affectionate, people-loving girl who enjoys being close and soaking up attention. She greets new friends with enthusiasm and is social with other dogs, showing friendly curiosity and interest. She can get excited and sometimes jumps up for hugs, a habit that’s easy to understand given her love of connection and one that can be shaped with gentle training.

On leash, Wiggles is a pleasure to walk. She’s interested in the world around her—sniffing, watching, and taking it all in—without pulling or dragging her handler along. She’s highly treat-motivated and takes treats gently, which bodes well for continued training. Shelter staff also note that she’s generally quiet, rarely barking, and adaptable in new situations.

Wiggles would do best in a home that enjoys an affectionate, interactive companion and is ready to help a young dog continue learning good manners. Her manageable size, friendly nature, and eagerness to please make her a great candidate for a variety of households. She has recently completed her spay recovery and is ready to head home right away.
