Angels Camp, CA…Martha M. Miller March 2, 1929 ~ February 11, 2026 (age 96).It is with great sorrow that the family of Martha Mary Miller announces her passing from this earth on February 11, 2026. Martha was born in Santa Barbara, California on March 2, 1929 to Chester and Helen Miller. She was the youngest of 3 girls.

Her love for the mountains started when her parents worked in Yosemite Valley running the boys camp. She had worked over 70 years in Yosemite, retiring at the age of 91. She worked in Yosemite’s high country in summer and the Ahwahnee Hotel in the winter.

Later in life she went on to own race horses and compete with a group called the Magic Mini’s with her mini horse, Rambo. Needless to say, she was an adventurer, traveling all over the world.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Chet and Helen, her sisters Nina Ann, and Joyce, nephew Jamie Nigh and niece Dana Hanson. She is survived by her niece’s Mary (Glenn) and Stephanie and nephew Peter (Sandy), and cousin Marg Graf (Allen), and many grand nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial at Angels Camp Mortuary on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception at Marg and Allen Graf, 835 Pioneer Mine Court, Angels Camp.
