Angels Camp, CA..Daniel Howard Castle March 6, 1953 – February 9, 2026. Daniel Howard Castle, 72, passed away peacefully at home in Nine Mile Falls, WA, on February 9, 2026. A Master Mechanic and Alaska Local 302 member, Dan was a fixture at Alaska Raceway Park.

While he lived life at “full throttle” on the dragstrip, he was a deeply devoted husband and a loving, gentle father at home. He is survived by his beloved wife, Georgeanne; children Heather, Christopher, and Ashley; brother James; and four grandchildren Olivia, Avery, Daniel and Peyton. He was preceded in death by his brother, Guy, and his parents, Howard and Alberta Castle of Angels Camp.

This summer, Dan will take a final run by spreading some of his ashes at the Alaska Raceway Park before being laid to rest in his birthplace of Angels Camp, CA.
