Murphys, CA…It was another idyllic small town Americana Day for Irish Day in Murphys on Irish Day in 2025. The clouds parted & our little corner of the world was very green indeed. Walt Markus was the well deserved parade Grand Marshal for his many many years of service to his community. Below are a couple of crowd shots so you can judge for yourselves whether attendance was adequate or not 🙂
Leprechauns roamed the streets and everyone regardless of the true heritage was Irish for the day. Over 30 million Americans claim to be at least partly of Irish heritage. From the crowd size it appeared a good portion of them were in Murphys to pay us a visit.
