Teri Francis Boyd 1943 – 2026

Angels Camp, CA…Teri Francis Boyd was born October 1, 1943, at Oak Knoll Naval Hospital in Oakland, California to Arthur Wyatt and Gloria Marshman Wyatt. She died January 28, 2026, in Billings, MT after a brief illness. Teri graduated high school at Mt. Diablo High School in Concord, CA then went on to attend Columbia College and participate in an apprenticeship with Dr. Stephen Teale where she became a Licensed Vocational Nurse, a title she was very proud of and that brought her much joy. Teri Lived in Angels Camp for many years and raised her three sons there.

Teri was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, but was also much more. She was a talented artist, seamstress, a prolific gardener, a caring nurse and loyal friend. Teri had an enormous spot in her heart set aside for the young ones in her life. She would often burn the highway up between Wyoming and California to be sure she had an active part in her grandchildren’s lives. Much of her leisure time was spent in, on, or near any body of water.

She is survived by husband Donald Boyd of Powell, Wyoming; sister Barbara (Jim) Heard of Pioneer, California; children Dwayne (Laura) Dougherty of Spring Creek, Nevada; Mark Dougherty of Jamestown, California; stepson John (Debbie) Dougherty of Nampa, Idaho; stepdaughter Karen Boyd of San Andreas, California; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
