Angels Camp, CA…Anthony Lyn “Tony” Claussen passed away unexpectedly on April 15, 2026 in Susanville, CA. He was born January 31, 1963 in Auburn, CA to Rand and Darleen Claussen.
He was raised in Murphys, graduated from Bret Harte High School in 1981. He moved to Colorado where he met Cathy. They moved back to Angels Camp and got married and later, they moved to Thornton, Colorado and raised their two children, Rachel and Randy.
Tony was preceded in death by his dad, Rand Claussen! He is survived by his mom, Darleen Nelson of Susanville, daughter Rachel Claussen of Colorado, son Randy Claussen of Colorado, his friend Shelley, his faithful dog Bubba, family, many friends and B.
