Valley Springs, CA…Mr. Windell Sullivan July 20, 1936 ~ June 14, 2026 (age 89). Windell Darrell Sullivan passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on Sunday, June 14, 2026, in Valley Springs, California.
Windell served his country in the United States Army. He dedicated his career to his work as a skilled cement finisher by trade. Outside of his professional life, Windell had a deep passion for the outdoors and rural life, spending his time tending to his horses, goats, and his love for tractors.
He leaves behind a large, devoted family who will miss him dearly. Windell is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Mary Sullivan. He was a loving father to his children: Carolyn and George Bettencourt; Brenda and Mike DeGough; Pam and Mark Perryman; David and Diana Sullivan; and Richard and Dina Sullivan. He also leaves behind stepchildren, Nicole Davis and Chad Wathen. Plus, an abundance of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his siblings Maurice Mashore, Glenn Sullivan, Jim Sullivan, Ray Sullivan, and Forest Sullivan, and is survived by his siblings Vicky Sullivan (Lodi, California), Bill Sullivan, and Bob Sullivan both from Emmet, Idaho.
In accordance with Wendell’s wishes, no services or memorial events will be held. Donations can be made to St. Jude’s.
