Craig Hauschildt July 31, 1957 ~ June 13, 2026 (age 68). Craig Alan Hauschildt, 68, passed away on June 13, 2026, following an eight-year journey with metastatic bladder cancer.

Born on July 31, 1957, in San Rafael, California, Craig lived a life marked by devotion to family, career, music, and adventure. Throughout his professional life, he was respected for his dedication, expertise, and commitment to excellence. He retired in 2017 after a 25-year career in the aerospace industry.

In his early adult years, Craig was a cellist with the Fresno Philharmonic. He also enjoyed backpacking, sailing, scuba diving, and astronomy activities that reflected his lifelong curiosity and love of the outdoors.

Craig is survived by his wife of 43 years, Ginger Hauschildt; daughter, Amy J. Clark; son, Ryan B. Hauschildt, his sister, Kathy Anderson, brother-in-law Dave Anderson and nieces Julia and Elizabeth Anderson.

Craig’s legacy lives on in the family he cherished, the friendships he nurtured, and the many lives he touched throughout his journey. Craig will be remembered for his intelligence, perseverance, and devotion to his family.

A private family memorial sail will take place in his honor. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages friends and loved ones to honor Craig’s memory by spending time in nature, appreciating music, or looking up at the stars- activities that brought him great happiness throughout his life.
