Estate Sale to Benefit the Diana J. White Cancer Institute

Sonora, CA…An estate sale will be held at the home of George and Diana White, June 24, 25 and 26, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 19279 2nd Garrotte Road in Groveland. Proceeds will benefit the Diana J. White Cancer Institute at Sonora Regional Medical Center. Last year, George White gave a generous estate gift in honor of his late wife, Diana. The gift, estimated at over $3 million, was directed to benefit the Cancer Center at Sonora Regional Medical Center. At the time of his gift, White said, “I am happy to make this estate gift to the hospital in her memory because I know it will help people in our community. That would have made Diana very happy.” To honor and recognize their substantial contribution, the Cancer Center will be renamed the Diana J. White Cancer Institute when it moves to its new location in the Medical Center’s Pavilion, scheduled to open in 2017.

With George White’s passing late last year, his estate plan is being fulfilled. Items to be sold include quality furniture and appliances from the White’s four bedrooms, living room, den and kitchen in their custom home in Groveland:
