Valley Springs, CA…The Gann Fire has now scorched 3,000 plus acres. No update on structures lost if any but the Bear Mountain Communication towers are in the fire’s path and the fire cameras are already off line and have been for a couple of hours at least. In the photos below you have a shot from the Fowler Peak Cam above Angels Camp and also a shot from the Valley Springs side. If you look at the Fowler Pead photo you can definitely see fire progression even from when we did our early update this morning.

At least 6 Air Tankers & Six Helicopters are working this fire as well as hundreds of boots on the ground. Let’s pray the winds don’t kick up so they can get ahead of this fire.
