Local Assistance Center to Open for Residents Impacted by the Gann Fire

San Andreas, CA…Calaveras County will open a Local Assistance Center on Thursday, Aug. 13, to help individuals and families impacted by the Gann Fire connect with information, resources, and recovery assistance.

Walk-ins are welcome and no appointment is necessary. Please use the lower-level parking area and entrance.
“Recovering from a wildfire can be overwhelming, especially when residents aren’t sure where to begin,” said Marcos Muñoz, Agency Director, Calaveras Health and Human Services Agency. “The Local Assistance Center brings resources together in one place to help residents identify available assistance and their next steps.”

Individuals and families impacted by the Gann Fire are encouraged to visit the center. Resources and information may include:
• Assistance with replacing important documents
• Food and basic-needs resources
• Health, behavioral health, and community support resources
• Connections and referrals to participating agencies and organizations
