Murphys, CA…Donald Eugene Elliott II March 11, 1956 – July 23, 2026. Donald Eugene Elliott II, 70, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2026, in Murphys, California.

Born to Rita and Donald Elliott, Donny was raised in San Jose, California, where he attended and graduated from Lynbrook High School. He later attended De Anza College in Cupertino, where he played football.

Donny was a gifted craftsman whose creativity could be seen in everything he made. A skilled carpenter and mason, he also had a talent for designing and crafting furniture. He took pride in his work and had a natural ability to turn ideas into something beautiful and lasting.

Those who knew Donny will remember him most for his big heart and his unwavering love for the people around him. He was gentle, sensitive, and always positive, with a wonderful sense of humor and a great laugh. He had a way of making people feel cared for and accepted, and his kindness left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know him.

Donny is survived by his life partner, Paula Alfinito; his children, Luke Elliott, Brittney Koke and her husband John, and Megan Elliott; his grandchildren, Jackson, Hudson, Cooper, and Brewer; his brothers, Craig Elliott and Casey Elliott and his wife Joanne; and his sister, Cheryl Elliott.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rita Elliott and Donald Elliott.

A Celebration of Life will be held on August 21, 2026, at 9 am, at Brice Station Vineyards, 3353 CA-4, Murphys, California 95247.

Donny will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him, loving him and being loved by him.
