Angels Camp, CA…Mr. Jackie Ray Johnson September 6, 1941 ~ August 21, 2026 (age 84).   Jack R Johnson, Age 84, of Angels Camp CA, passed away on August 21, 2026, leaving behind a world carefully shaped by his own hands.
Born September 6, 1941, in Modesto CA, to Jess and Vina Johnson, Jack built a life centered on service, hard work and deep love for his family.

He had an undeniable ability to keep you busy with a small favor, or his famous if-you-got-a-minute stories.  Jack’s love was vast with a passion for his wife, Ruth Johnson, family, friends and community.   Serving as a Husband, Father, Grandfather, Teacher, Mentor, Mayor and Church Elder.

He leaves behind his wife, Ruth Johnson; Sons, Jeff, Mike and Joe; Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and a community of friends. His legacy of kindness and devotion will continue in the lives of all who loved him.

Service to be held at Vine and Branch Church (3710 Whittle Rd. Angels Camp, CA. 95222) on August 28th 2026, at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, the Family requests donations to Libertas Academy or Vine and Branch Fellowship.
