Copperopolis, CA…Beginning Monday, October 12, 2026, and continuing through mid – December 2026, one-lane signalized traffic control will take place on the O’Byrnes Ferry Road Bridge.
The bridge will be reduced to one lane, and portable temporary traffic signals will be installed at either end of the bridge. Motorists should expect intermittent traffic delays over the next few weeks.
The signalized traffic control will operate twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week through this operation. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling in the area. Construction crews will be active during daylight hours from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
