Arnold, CA…The Greater Arnold Business Association along with many members of the community hosted another great Arnold Independence Day Parade. 4th of July weekend in Arnold is something not to be missed. The whole, little, mountain town is decorated in red, white & blue and the parade and other events renew one’s faith in our communities and our 240 year old experiment as the world’s greatest democratically elected, representative republic. There were many highlights of the parade but one special one is this year’s parade marked the last the Cal-Fire’s Nancy Longmore will be a participant in an official manner. She is retiring from Cal-Fire and will be missed.
