Search Continues For Twain Harte Man

Twain Harte, CA…Search efforts are still on going this morning. Search and Rescue along with a helicopter remain in the area searching for Benaiah. There has been cell phone activity (data usage) on his account as early as this morning. SAR is working with the cellphone company to determine if it is actual usage or an automated situation. His family says he is familiar with the area and left with water and fishing poles. We will continue to post updates as they come in.

Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue along with a CHP Helicopter are searching the area of Mt. Knight in the Twain Harte/Jupiter area.

Benaiah Tindell, a 20 year old man from the Twain Harte area was reported missing by his family. He was last seen Thursday morning at his home in Twain Harte before driving to the river location to camp. He is reported to have mental health issues and does not have medication with him.

A family member found Benaiah’s truck parked in the Mt. Knight area on a forest road. A single shoe was also found by the river.

Benaiah is described as being 5’10” tall, 160 pounds, Brown hair, and Blue eyes.
