Columbia, CA…(Update as of 5:11pm…they are getting a handle on fire and forward progress stopped at about 2 acres! he Tuolumne County Sheriff’s department has reported that the plane was fully engulfed shortly after the crash. The fire on the plane has been extinguished as well) CHP & Scanner traffic are reporting an airplane down at Columbia Airport. There is also a fire with spread to vegetation. Our thoughts and prayers to the pilot’s family and friends as initial reports are that the pilot has probably passed away.
