Arnold, CA…On Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 11:00 AM a Public Town Hall meeting will be held at the Avery Middle School Auditorium 4545 Moran Road, Avery, CA to discuss the Tree Mortality issue facing Calaveras County, especially the Highway 4 corridor area. Representation from Calaveras County, CalFire, Ebbetts Pass Fire, CCWD, PG&E, CalTrans, US Forest Service, CA Office of Emergency Services and Sierra Pacific Industries will be in attendance to address and answer questions provided by the public in a question and answer format.

Public attendees are encouraged to prepare questions in advance due to the expected large attendance. Advance questions can be emailed to Supervisor Michael Oliveira at mcoliveira@co.calaveras.ca.us no later than Wednesday, August 10th or can be asked in person at the meeting. The meeting will be moderated to ensure effective results and provide the most beneficial information to all.
