Angels Camp, CA…On August 16th an Angels Camp man was driving his Ford Escape eastbound on Hwy 4, east of Stallion Way at approximately 45mph. Due to his inattention, he allowed his vehicle to travel off of the roadway and onto the south south Shoulder. The Escape then overturned, rolled onto it’s roof and came to rest in the westbound lane of Hwy 4.

As a result of the collision Hwy 4 was closed in both directions for about an hour. Alcohol, and or drugs are not considered to be a factor in this collision.
