Run the Rim 10K

Arnold, CA…FREE Run the Rim 10k on Sunday September 4th on Labor Day weekend 2016. Unorganized and unsupported, no t-shirt, no food, no aid stations, just a fun run, but let’s see who can set a course record for fun as it’s not an easy 10k! This is a tough 10K will hill climbs. The fun run starts at 8:00 am sharp at the Lakemont gate entrance to the Rim Trail. Please park at the Lakemont Lodge parking lot 3211 Lakemont drive or Big Trees Market and carpool. It’s a short walk from the Lakemont Lodge parking lot to the start and we have permission to park there. PLEASE DO NOT park at the gate as it upsets the neighbors if there are alot of cars.

Run proceeds up the single track and down to San Antonio creek and then proceeds up before the falls and intersects the SA falls overlook trail and then proceeds up the 20 switch backs to Manuel Peak and over to Top of the World. The route then proceeds down the back side of the Top of the World and over to Cougar Rock and loops back to the finish. If you get tired, you can easily go back to the start at the intersection of Top of the World and Manuel Peak trail which is about half way and only a one mile straight back down to the start at the gate.

THIS IS A TOUGH 10K, BUT BEAUTIFUL! PLEASE HYDRATE BEFORE YOU RUN AS THERE IS NO WATER ON THE COURSE. This will be a labor of love run!
