San Andreas, CA….Calaveras County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various road construction activities on State Route 49 (SR-49). Work will occur as follows: A 24-hour closure of the #1 (left) lane and right shoulder on northbound SR-49 from Main Street to Poole Station Road for utility potholing beginning Monday, September 12, 2016, through Friday, September 16, 2016, from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m. One-way traffic control on northbound and southbound SR-49 from San Antonio Creek to Carol Kennedy Drive for drainage work beginning Monday, September 12, 2016, through Tuesday, September 13, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. The #1 (left) lane and right shoulder will close on northbound SR-49 from Mountain Ranch Road to Main Street in San Andreas for pavement work beginning Monday, September 12, 2016, through Friday, September 16, 2016, from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 10 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
