Rail Road Flat, CA…At 24 year old San Jose man lost his life this afternoon in a collision on Jesus Maria Road. He was riding his 2001 Suzuki southbound on Jesus Maria Rd at an unknown speed. A Valley Springs woman was driving a Chevy Malibu southbound on Jesus Maria Rd and was stopped partially blocking the southbound traffic lane and partially on the west shoulder. As the rider approached he applied his brakes but, due to his unsafe speed, he was unable to stop in time. The motorcycle rear ended the Chevy. He was partially ejected from his motorcycle. He was wearing a full face DOT approved helmet at the time of this collision.
