San Andreas, CA…On September 21, 2016 at 9:27 AM Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to an apartment at the Creekside Apartment complex, San Andreas for a welfare check on one of the tenants that had not been seen recently. A deputy located a deceased person inside the apartment. Sheriff’s Detectives responded to the scene to conduct the investigation. Investigators learned that a silver 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV (California License Plate 7NUG011) registered to the tenant is unaccounted for at this time. The identity of the victim cannot be confirmed until an autopsy can be completed, but it appears to be a female adult.
