Amador County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various road construction activities on State Route 88 (SR-88). Work will occur as follows:

One-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-88 from Columbia Drive to Shake Ridge Road for drainage work beginning Monday, October 3, 2016, through Friday, October 7, 2016, from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m

One-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-88 from Cat Creek Road to Foster Meadow Road for grinding and paving operations beginning Monday, October 3, 2016, through Friday, October 7, 2016, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

One-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-88 from Peddler Hill Road to Tragedy Springs Road for paving operations beginning Monday, October 3, 2016, through Friday, October 7, 2016, from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

One-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-88 from Silver Lake Campground to the Amador/Alpine County line for paving operations beginning Monday, October 3, 2016, through Friday, October 7, 2016, from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 10 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
