Calaveras County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform one-way traffic control on northbound and southbound State Route 49 (SR-49) from Copello Drive to San Domingo Creek for drainage work.

Work will begin on Tuesday, October 4, 2016, through Wednesday, October 5, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

One-way traffic control will occur on northbound and southbound SR-49 from San Domingo Creek to Demarest Mine/Fricot Road or drainage work beginning Thursday, October 6, 2016, through Friday, October 7, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

Additionally, the #1 (left) lane will close on northbound SR-49 from Main Street in San Andreas to Poole Station Road for utility work beginning Monday, October 3, 2016, through Friday, October 7, 2016, from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 10 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
