Angels Camp Traffic Stop Nets Drug & Forged ID Arrests

Angels Camp, CA…On 10-13-016, at approximately 9 AM, officers from the Angels Camp Police Department assisted a CA State Fish & Wildlife Warden on a traffic stop near the intersection of N. Main Street and Dogtown Road. Upon contact with the occupants of the vehicle, the warden could smell the odor or marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Further investigation revealed that the occupants were both in the area, working at a commercial marijuana cultivation site. Additionally, one of the occupants was in possession of an identification card from the state of Idaho that is suspected to be a forgery. The other occupant was in possession of LSD, which is a controlled substance.

Kori M. Coggins, a 23 year old Bend, OR resident, was arrested and ultimately cited for possession of a forged identification card.

Maxine P. Roach, a 26 year old Bend, OR resident, was arrested and cited and released for possession of a controlled substance.

The attached photographs depict six (6) doses of LSD, as well as a handwritten time sheet record, of time spent trimming marijuana plants.
