Tuolumne County, CA… The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform road work at various locations on State Route 49 (SR-49) in Tuolumne County. Work will occur as follows;
A moving closure on northbound and southbound SR-49 from the Mariposa/Tuolumne County line to Moccasin for striping operations beginning on Monday, October 17, 2016, through Thursday, October 20, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
A moving closure on northbound and southbound SR-49 from Chicken Ranch Road to Sonora Creek Bridge for striping operations beginning on Monday, October 17, 2016, through Thursday, October 20, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
The left and right shoulders on northbound and southbound SR-49 from Columbia Way to Parrots Ferry Road for drainage work on Friday, October 21, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 10-15 minute delays.
This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
