Angels Camp, CA…Rita was born in 1919 to Irish Catholic farmers in Centralia, Kansas where she lived with her ten siblings. She also met her future husband Ray, in the same small community. In 1941 they moved to Northern California where they were married. In 1951 they moved their family to San Jose where they raised four children. Rita was very involved with church and school activities. After Ray retired in 1978 they moved to Angels Camp with their son Brian. Again Rita was involved with church and community activities. Her hands were always busy, either holding a book, knitting needles or a crochet hook. Many babies were kept warm with her blankets.

Rita was preceded in death by her husband Ray, daughter Linda Kay, and son Robert.

She is survived by her brother Robert, daughters Nancy (Andy), Jeanie (Naish), and son Brian, grandchildren Ross, Kevin, Jeff and Lori and six great grand children.

She was much loved and will definitely be missed.
