Mountain Ranch, CA…July 2, 1935 – October 30, 2016. Geraldine passed on October 30, 2016 after a brief illness. She is survived and loved by her husband, Clare Eaves, twin brother Gerald Petersen, son Mark Seager, granddaughters Shawna Strauss and Kayla Seager. She is preceded in death by her son, Brent Seager.

Geraldine was born in Castle Dale, Utah. Her family lived in Ferron until she was six years old, and then moved to Salt Lake City. She attended Brigham Young University and worked in San Diego, California where she held the role of paralegal and office manager for a law office of 60 attorneys and staff. After retiring she and her husband moved to Mountain Ranch and traveled extensively.

Geraldine enjoyed gardening, her dogs, selling cosmetics for Mary Kay along with many other pursuits. She had an insatiable desire for knowledge. She was a passionate follower of the Austrian philosopher, social reformer, architect and esotericist, Rudolf Steiner.

A memorial service will be held at Calaveras Mortuary November 12, 2016 at 10:30 a.m.
