Sacramento, CA…After months of campaigning to prevent another round of devastating budget cuts to our schools and students through Proposition 55, educators and supporters from across California will be coming together at the Citizen Hotel to watch the election results as the polls close Tuesday, November 8th at 8:00 p.m. Educators will also have a close eye on Prop. 58, the LEARN initiative, which helps students learn English as quickly as possible and expands opportunities for English speakers to master a second language. Prop. 52, which helps maintain billions in federal funding to support health for low-income children and seniors, is a measure educators will be watching as well.
