Jackson, CA…On Monday night, 38-year-old Douglas Crosby of Oakley, went into the Jackson Rancheria Casino and passed a note to a cashier demanding cash and threatening to shoot someone if he didn’t get it.
The cashier gave Crosby some money, but instead of Crosby running away, he sat down at a nearby slot machine, took off his shirt and started to play. Moments later he was arrested by the Amador County Sheriffs Department. He wasn’t armed with a pistol and the stolen cash was recovered. Thank you to the Jackson Rancheria Casino employees who helped deputies with this arrest and investigation.
