Amador County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close the right and left shoulder and right and left turn lanes on northbound and southbound State Route 49 (SR-49) from Clinton Road to South Avenue in Jackson for traffic signal work.

Work will begin Monday, November 14, 2016, through Friday, November 18, 2016, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

In addition, the #1 (left) lane, left and right shoulders will also close on SR-49 from SR-16 to Bush Street in Plymouth for utility work on Monday, November 14, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 10 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
