Calaveras County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform road work at various locations on State Route 26 (SR-26) in Calaveras County. Work will occur as follows;

The #1 (left) lane, right and left shoulders, bike lane and median will alternately close on eastbound and westbound SR-26 from Nove Way to SR-12 in Valley Springs for utility work beginning Monday, November 14, 2016, through Friday, November 18, 2016, from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

One-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-26 from Humbug Creek Road to the Calaveras/Amador County line for tree work beginning Wednesday, November 16, 2016, through Thursday, November 17, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
