Mi Wuk Village, CA…A structure fire was reported at approximately 6:45 pm November 15, 2016 in MiWuk Village on Karensa Court. Units responded immediately. Mi Wuk Sugar Pine Fire Protection District responded with 2 fire engines, a utility, as well as the Fire Chief.  They were assisted by a Battalion Chief, and an engine from CAL FIRE, an engine from Twain Harte CSD Fire & Rescue, and an engine from Tuolumne County Fire Department.

Due to the quick work of the firefighters the fire was contained quickly to one bedroom. Fire damage was contained to the one bedroom. The entire home has smoke and water damage. No residents were in the home at the time.

The cause is under investigation.
