Tuolumne County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close eastbound and westbound State Route 120 at the James E. Roberts Bridge in Tuolumne County for bridge work. Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, there is no scheduled road work for Thursday (November 24) or Friday (November 25).
Access to the bridge is prohibited Sunday, November 20, 2016, through Wednesday, November 23, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. Detours are in place and additional information can be found at www.dot.ca.gov/dist10/JamesRobertsBridge/index.htm.
The bridge will remain under one-way traffic control into November 2017, as part of the $20.8 million State Route 120/James E. Roberts Bridge Project. The project is replacing the bridge deck, and retrofitting the structure for an additional 40 years of service.
Motorists should expect 15 minute delays during one-way traffic control.
