Calaveras County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform one-way traffic control at various locations on eastbound and westbound State Route 4 (SR-4). Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, there is no scheduled road work for Thursday (November 24) or Friday (November 25). Work will occur as follows:
One-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-4 from Stanislaus/Calaveras County line to SR-49/Angels Camp for paving operations beginning Monday, November 21, 2016, through Tuesday, November 22, 2016, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
One-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-4 from Upper Moran Road to Big Trees Park Entrance for utility work on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
One-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-4 from Upper Moran Road to Black Springs Road for tree work beginning Monday, November 21, 2016, through Tuesday, November 22, 2016, from 6:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Motorists should expect 10 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.
This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
