Magical December brings mystery, imagination and holiday cheer at Mokelumne Hill’s Holiday Open House on Sunday, December 11, 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm. This quaint, historic, gold rush town brings to life events and special activities for the entire family. There is nothing like horse drawn hay rides down Main Street, photos with Santa at the Hotel Leger, face painting, fun activities, and tasty treats throughout historic downtown shops.

Rounding out the event from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, enjoy an opening reception at Petroglyphe Gallery for artist Doug Lawler’s “The Island of Za, Chapter One”.

As part of the reception, join in a celebration of the season at Petroglyphe Gallery with Doug Lawler and other gallery artists.
