Amador County, CA…The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various road construction activities on State Route 88 (SR-88). Work will occur as follows:

The #1 (left) lane, right and left shoulders on eastbound and westbound SR-88 from Sunnybrook Railroad Crossing to one mile east of Sunnybrook Railroad Crossing for utility work on Saturday, December 3, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

One-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-88 from Court Street to Silver Drive for pavement repair beginning Monday, November 28, 2016, through Friday, December 2, 2016, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

One-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-88 from SR-26/Red Corral Road to Inspiration Drive for shoulder work beginning Monday, November 28, 2016, through Friday, December 2, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

One-way traffic control on eastbound and westbound SR-88 from Silver Lake Campground to the Amador/Alpine County line for paving operations beginning Monday, November 28, 2016, through Saturday, December 3, 2016, from 6:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 10-15 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/ or materials and construction related issues.
